Red Lights — Stop Immediately
Engine temperature: Engine is overheating. Pull over immediately, turn off the engine, and wait for it to cool. Do not open the radiator cap while hot.
Oil pressure: Dangerously low oil pressure. Stop driving immediately — continued operation will destroy the engine. Check oil level when safe.
Brake system: Brake failure or very low fluid. Drive slowly to a safe location and have the brakes inspected before driving further.
Amber/Yellow Lights — Attention Needed
Check engine: The most common and most vague. Could be anything from a loose fuel cap to an emission system issue. Drive to a mechanic for diagnostic scanning.
Tyre pressure: One or more tyres are below the recommended pressure. Check and inflate all tyres.
ABS: Anti-lock braking system malfunction. Standard brakes still work, but ABS won't activate in emergency stops.
Green/Blue Lights — Informational
High beams on, cruise control active, turn signals, eco mode active. These are status indicators, not warnings.
